My name is Noor Assi and I am a senior in Computer Science. I am from Palestine and I lived there for 17 years before moving to the United States in 2019. My native language is Arabic, but I have been speaking English since I was 12 years old. In 2018, I participated in a program called “The Techgirls” that took place in Washington DC for a month. From there, I realized that I enjoy learning about computers and working with women to be more engaged in the technology fields. I look forward to working with students to create a more inclusive environment in the Computer Science Department.
