Accessibility Resources
University Accessibility Center
The University Accessibility Center helps students with disabilities succeed at BYU. These disabilities include visible and invisible disabilities:
- Physical disabilities
- Chronic illness
- Depression
- Anxiety
- ADHD
- Learning disorders or dyslexia
- Visual disabilities
- Hearing disabilities
Receiving Assistance
One way the UAC helps students is by providing accommodations, such as testing modifications, reading helps, or classroom assistance. If you suspect you may have a disability but have not been diagnosed, contact the UAC. They offer free ADHD testing and low-cost learning disorder testing. Serve
You can also work with the UAC to serve your fellow students! Opportunities include volunteering as a notetaker, typist, live reader (for homework readings), or scribe. Sign up by emailing Nancy Davies at nancy_davies@byu.edu.
